How the Photo Quote Works
Text a photo of your stump to (615) 241-0232, far enough back that we can see the full stump along with the driveway, fence, or anything nearby that might affect access. Include something for scale, like a rake leaned against it, and let us know the species if you're able to tell.
Trunk diameter, species, and surrounding access are usually enough to price a job without ever needing to see the property first. On an unusually large stump, an odd location, or a multi-stump job, we might ask a few follow-up questions or, occasionally, swing by before locking in a firm number.
What Actually Changes the Price
Diameter and species drive most of it — dense old-growth hardwood like post oak, hickory, or black walnut takes longer to grind than a same-sized silver maple. Root flare, closeness to a driveway or foundation, and whether the gate or side yard is narrow enough to slow the machine all factor in too. We walk through all of that when we quote, so the number you get up front is the number on the invoice.
